Utility Models General

GENERAL:

A Utility Model is any new form, configuration or elements of an artifact, tool, instrument, mechanism or other part of an object which allows for a better or different functioning, use or fabrication of such object, and which incorporates or allows for a better use, advantage or technical effect which the object previously lacked.

A utility model is granted for a term of ten (10) years from its application.
